Karan Spanard, who joined Mayridge as regional director of Mayridge USA last month, heads up the new office which opened this month in New York.
Spanard will represent existing Mayridge clients in the US, while working with new event organisers to implement programmes across North America and Europe, and working with the company’s Middle East office.
She said: "This is a great opportunity for me personally but also for Mayridge. As a business Mayridge has great experience in North America, and it’s up to us to build on this reputation and expand our presence here to both support our existing clients and bring in new and exciting brands."
Before joining Mayridge, Spanard worked on conferences and live events with Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase as the founder of her own company, Maryada Strategies.
