Marks & Spencer fights back with £5 meal deal

The '£5 pizza meal deal' will allow customers to chose from a selection of its wood-fired pizzas. a salad and a garlic bread.

The initiative follows the huge success of its 'dine in for two for £10' promotion which offered consumers a range of main courses, a side dish, a pudding and a bottle of wine for just £10.

The deal was hugely popular and much imitated by rival supermarkets including Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsburys.

Sainsburys launched an Italian meal deal for £5 earlier this year.
