Madame Tussauds seeks brand partners

LONDON - Madame Tussauds has appointed Cocktail Marketing to create promotional brand partnerships to support the attraction's new figure launches in 2009.

Cocktail will be looking to create partnerships with complementary lifestyle brands.

Rob Smith, head of marketing at Madame Tussauds in London, said: "Brand partnerships are a very cost-effective and targeted way to grow our brand and product awareness and help us target new audiences through our figure launches.

"Cocktail is ideally placed to be able to secure great brand partnerships for us."

Madame Tussauds unveiled a new statue yesterday of 'High School Musical' star Zac Efron. Other figures unveiled this year include Amy Winehouse, Miley Cyrus and French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
