Webb, who has previously worked with the International Olympic Committee and sports communications consultancy Vero, will work as a specialist consultant identifying "specific opportunities for major events to take place in the Olympic Park within the period 2011 to 2016".
Webb was brought in by Visit London, and will work closely with the Mayor of London's office and the teams within the LDA, GLA and the Olympic Park Legacy Company.
She will create a major events' legacy report. Highlighting the opportunities for major sporting and entertainment events at the Olympic Park.
"The Olympic Park provides a significant opportunity for London to further attract major events," said Webb.
