Toro will supply logistics and event crewing services for building and rigging, including the set-up of lighting and sound systems and the construction and break down of large-scale events and festivals.
The division is already working on upcoming events at several large venues, including Old Billingsgate and the Tower of London.
Toro was originally launched 18 months ago, but the project was shelved as Lola needed to focus on its front of house operations at the time. With the relaunch, it will look to supply stage crew, riggers, sound and lighting engineers, heavy machinery operators and general labourers.
The company has also launched an office and commercial division. Both new brands will sit alongside Lola’s existing events staffing business, which provides promotional staff and front and back of house hospitality staff.
Duncan Mitchell, Lola managing director, said: "We have been finding that more and more of our clients have been asking us for administrative and office help. We recently provided an office assistant for Claridge’s and a receptionist for The Independent. Diversifying into this market is a natural progression."
