LK Bennett sells through online video

LONDON - LK Bennett has launched an online video of a fashion show which allows customers to click on and purchase items featured in the footage.

The video footage, created by Product Magnet, is from a fashion show that took place at The Dorchester during an afternoon champagne tea, and features of luxury clothes, shoes and accessories.

It is designed to help the consumer by showing them how the clothes move and the fit of the garments and by allowing them to instantly click on and buy the products.

Mono Ghose, director of Product Magnet, said: "The ability to instantly purchase a luxury item via an online video is one that will certainly bring a whole new dimension to online shopping.

"This online facility is set to revolutionise the digital industry, from the online shopping experience through to viral marketing campaigns. By allowing users the opportunity to buy products there and then, companies can significantly increase their ROI through maximising each and every digital marketing campaign."

A spokesperson for LK Bennett said: "This was a great opportunity for us to showcase our Autumn/Winter collection through a different medium with the ability to view the collection on a model.

"Seeing the movement of the fabric and the fit of garment enhances the online consumer experience and will allow a more informed purchasing decision."
