Lightspeed Research adds Spain to European network

LONDON - Lightspeed Research, the online market research firm, has launched its the Lightspeed Consumer Panel website in Spain, further establishing the company's growing presence in mainland Europe.

The Spanish panel provides access to more than 50,000 members, which Lightspeed says it plans to grow significantly over the next 12 months.

With the addition of Spain, Lightspeed how has access to more than 17m household members across 29 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. 

Lightspeed has European panels in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, as well as the US and Australia.

Andrew Cayton, senior vice-president for European business development, said: "The amount of online research conducted in Spain has significantly grown, so it makes sense for us to be able to offer clients access to a Lightspeed Research proprietary panel.

He added: "The country is also geographically diverse, so online is a good methodology to carrying out effective research. This will enable us to continue to offer clients unrivalled levels of service across a wider geography."
