Lida promotes Mel Cruickshank to managing director

LONDON - Mel Cruickshank, client services director at Lida, the direct arm of M&C Saatchi, has been promoted to be the first managing director of the agency.

Cruickshank has been in the industry for 14 years, beginning her career at agency Smith Bundy before moving to GGT (now Tequila\London) and moving to Lida in 2000. She was appointed client services director in 2004.
 
The new role will include responsibility for developing Lida's digital offering across existing clients and new business development.
 
Cruickshank will report directly to chief executive Lisa Thomas.
 
Lida has around 70 employees and key clients include Mini, NatWest and British Airways.
