LG Electronics uses experiential roadshow to demystify TV buying

LONDON - LG Electronics is trying to demystify the process of buying a TV with a UK tour aimed at educating consumers.

LG Electronics uses experiential roadshow to demystify TV buying

Launched in response to independent research that revealed 80% of UK households are confused by jargon associated with TV purchases, the LG Xperience, a 20 ft roadshow trailer set-up with the latest LG TVs will embark on a nationwide consumer and retail tour to help demystify technological terminology, the digital switchover and Freesat.

The tour will make an appearance at Lord's from 5-18 June during the Twenty20 World Cup before its tour through Argos, Currys and Comet stores in digital switchover regions.

LG is also producing an online consumer buyer's guide at www.lge.co.uk/tvguide in conjunction with Future's titles T3 and What Plasma & LCD TV to help support LG's education tour.

The microsite uses video and other interactive content to help consumers choose a TV that is suited to their houses and viewing habits.
