Kylie launches Facebook app to promote new album

LONDON - Kylie Minogue has expanded her presence in the digital social networking world by launching her own Kylie Robotics Facebook application to promote the release of her latest album, ‘X'.

The allows fans to create and customise their own Kylie caricature from a range of more than forty figures, all with their own distinctive outfit.

Kylie Robotics features an archive of "classic Kylie" outfits, based on the star's looks throughout her career. These include iconic images, such as the "Can't Get You Out of my Head" white pant suit and the gold "Spinning Around" hotpants.

Fans can use the Kylie caricature as their profile picture or send it to a friend.

The Facebook campaign coincides with the release of Kylie's latest album, 'X', which is being released on November 26.

Earlier this month, Kylie launched her own social networking site, . The site allows fans to create personal profiles, upload images and blogs, and chat with other fans via mobile or web browsers.
