Derby City Council has handed a two-year contract worth £1.3m to Kudos to provide banqueting and retail services.
The firm will work at Derby-based venues including the Assembly Rooms and the Guildhall Theatre, serving around 300,000 guests.
Kudos will be responsible for providing food and retail services for visitors, staff and guests at the venue, as well as providing sales and marketing support to the venue teams.
Jason Manford and the musicals Annie and Blood Brothers have performed at the venue in the last year, as well as corporate events.
