KFC drops the f-bomb in provocative new campaign

Bartle Bogle Hegarty has created a new outdoor ad for KFC that toys with the convention of starring-out the letters in the middle of a swear word.

At the centre of the campaign, which launched this week, is a 96-sheet featuring the headline "It’s f_____ _____n’ good".

It will be joined by posters for train station screens that promote KFC’s new burger, the Original Recipe Stacker, a sandwich that combines chicken fillets with a "baconnaise" sauce.

The campaign was created by Hamish Pinnell and Martha Riley at BBH. The design was by Christian Tunstall and Niek Van Den Wingerden at Gareth Williams Design & Photography.
