The teambuilding and corporate event management company, which has two offices in Trentham, Staffordshire and Richmond, Surrey, also found a higher demand for more social and fun events rather than those with purely business-focused content.
Kevin Davies, managing director at KDM Events, said: "Last year we found that country sports events, inflatables and team challenges were starting to match the number of indoor events we delivered. Companies are once again investing in rewarding and motivating with more relaxed fun-style events.
"We are already seeing more demand for team events, engagement activity and incentive experiences, and this is where we see our own business growth in 2014."
He also predicted clients’ internal communications spend will increase in 2014 as the employment market becomes more buoyant and companies strive to retain their best people through motivation and reward programmes.
As a result of the growth, KDM Events has expanded its vehicle fleet and is currently recruiting for two new sales team members.
Nicky Wrighte, KDM commercial director, said: "If the number of enquiries received this year matches or exceeds our 2013 figures, we’ll be needing to bolster our commercial team even further."
