Jim Beam launches user-generated video contest

CHICAGO - Bourbon brand Jim Beam is hosting a user-generated social media contest, asking the public to create their own Jim Beam commercial for a chance to win $25,000 (拢18,000).

Participants must create their own original commercial by spoofing one of three latest Jim Beam television ads, '', '', or ''.

The provides a "director's toolbox" of fonts, sound clips, images and logos for users to add to their videos.

Personal promotion buttons and embeddable content allow user share their video on a number of social media sites, including , , and .

Jim Beam's 'The Remake' contest runs through March 21, with one grand prize winner taking $25,000 and a trip for four to Las Vegas. Four runners-up will receive Sony HD digital video cameras. An additional prize, for "best story" will win a Flip Mino video camera.
