The Special Event, taking place in January 2013, is the world’s largest trade exhibition and educational conference for US and internationally based event professionals.
Morgan, who has spearheaded research around the event industry’s supply chain during London 2012, the Cultural Olympiad and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, will be presenting his findings at the international show from 15-17 January.
Organisers of The Special Event invited Morgan to speak at the premier international event following the feedback from the first part of the research project presented to UK event professionals in January 2012.
Philip Atkins, president of the ISES UK Chapter said: "Industry research remains a key member benefit for ISES members and contributes to the UK’s thought leadership in the global events industry. We’re delighted with the response to the research we commissioned."
Morgan added: "To be asked to share the our research findings that have a bearing on the organisation of other mega-events around the world, is a credit to all the event professionals in the UK that contributed their time and opinions to provide an insight into a little researched topic."
