IPC takes Wallpaper to 12 issues a year

LONDON - Design and fashion magazine Wallpaper is to increase its frequency again and will go up to 12 issues a year from 2008.

IPC Media will increase Wallpaper to 12 issues a year having already upped it to 11 issues earlier this year.

Andrew Black, publishing director at Wallpaper, said: "Wallpaper is truly going from strength to strength, both editorially and commercially. Subscription levels are at their highest level and our advertising is up 42% on 2006, which itself was a record year. The move to 12 issues makes perfect sense."

Tony Chambers, editor-in-chief, said that there was a clear demand from readers for an extra edition.

Each issue of Wallpaper in 2008 will have a different theme. The June issue theme will be "work" and July will be "secret elite".
