IPC names Swidenbank as InStyle publishing director

LONDON - IPC Southbank has expanded the role of its women's lifestyle publishing director Linda Swidenbank to become publishing director of InStyle, Wedding and Wedding Flowers.

Swidenban replaces Kirsten Price, who left the position at the end of 2009 to spend more time with her family.

In addition, Inca Waddell, formerly acting publishing director on InStyle, takes the role of InStyle publisher.

Swidenbank, whose titles include Woman & Home, Essentials and Family Circle, now adds Instyle, Wedding and Wedding Flowers to her portfolio.

IPC Southbank managing director Jackie Newcombe said: "Linda is an extremely talented publisher who has achieved great success with Woman & Home - this expansion of her portfolio is well deserved. Linda will be ably supported on InStyle by publisher Inca Waddell, who secured a superb period of circulation growth for the magazine as acting publishing director last year."
