Berridge, who was previously the creative director of New Woman, will now oversee the art and design of IPC Connect's portfolio of titles, including Now, Chat, Woman, Woman's Own, Woman's Weekly and newly launched mag Pick Me Up.
Evelyn Webster, IPC Connect managing director, said: "The women's weekly market is as fast-paced as ever and Lottie will be a great asset to Connect, helping us to accelerate the fantastic development work that is already under way across our market-leading portfolio."
When she takes up the post on December 12, Berridge will work closely with IPC Media's group creative director Andy Cowles.
"Lottie is clearly one of the outstanding art directors of her generation. Her proven talent and experience will be a huge asset to IPC Connect. I can't wait for her to start," Cowles said.
Prior to her role at New Woman, Berridge worked as art director for Heat and FHM and as a senior designer for Radio Times.
