Identex awarded BBC Worldwide consumer data task

LONDON - Data marketing company Identex has won a BBC Worldwide project to manage and develop its central consumer database, following a competitive pitch.

The contract will see Identex manage data for all of BBC Worldwide, which markets books, audio books, DVDs and subscriptions for a wide variety of consumer magazines, including Radio Times, Top Gear and Good Food.

The project aims to enhance BBC Worldwide's direct-to-consumer marketing activity and provide valuable information for marketers to help them understand and use the data to create successful consumer campaigns.

Jane Finch, consultancy partner at Identex, said: "We have been working with the Radio Times for a number of years now and are delighted to have the opportunity to work on this exciting direct-to-consumer initiative with the whole of BBC Worldwide.

"We look forward to helping the company foster longer and deeper lifetime relationships with its customers."

Headquartered in Sussex with offices in Bristol and Leeds, Identex's 200-plus international customers include AOL, British Airways, Cancer Research UK and Manchester United Football Club.
