Richard Hearn takes on the new role, joining Identex from independent software vendor HelpIT Systems, where he was marketing manager.
Hearn, who has more than 15 years' experience in the marketing and automotive industries, is responsible for managing and developing the account, which Identex has held for 10 years.
The seven-strong team works on CRM strategies for the passenger car division of DaimlerChrysler and its retail outlets, with a centralised marketing database.
Identex focuses on campaign management, database management, global information management, digital technology, analytics and consultancy. Its parent company is a division of marketing services giant Omnicom.
