Woodland Trust hires Identex to grow donor base

LONDON – The Woodland Trust, Britain's largest woodland conservation charity, has hired data specialist Identex to handle its data processing as it aims to boost membership and donations.

The charity is working with a number of agencies, including Identex, to generate increased donations by encouraging more members to enrol.

Philip Shipway, marketing manager at the Woodland Trust, said: "Our donor acquisition and fundraising targets require an in-depth understanding of the not-for-profit sector and a considserable amount of expertise in data planning and analysis."

The Woodland Trust, has been dedicated to the UK's native woodland heritage for over 30 years and owns more than 1,000 sites covering 5,000 acres of countryside.

Tim Pottinger, divisional manager at Identex, said: "The charity's work

is vital to the preservation and enhancement of our countryside, and therefore the more data we process, the more donors we can enrol."

Identex works with a number of other charities including Cancer Research UK.
