Dave won the business following a three-way pitch against Exposure and Medicine Man.
Hunter aims to attract young families who love to mix the pace and glamour of the city with the more relaxed lifestyle of the countryside.
Dave will refresh Hunter's marketing materials, point-of-sale and concessions to help launch an extended product range.
Hunter wellies were originally designed for walking in Scotland's rugged terrain but have more recently been adopted by celebrities and fashion icons including Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley.
Dan Bobby, CEO of Dave, said: "The competition was strong but our plans for the brand seem to have struck a chord with Hunter as our approach will really look to reinforce what it stands for.
"It is a very exciting brand to work with and there is a great deal of scope to develop new and exciting avenues of business on a global scale."
Mike Todd, marketing director at Hunter, said: "Our recent success has been phenomenal and has created the opportunity to turn a great product into an outstanding brand. Three of the best pitched and Dave was exceptional."
Dave was founded in 2003 and its clients include ITN, British Gas, Nectar and Nokia.
