Hungryhouse will be on site at the junction of Talbot Road and Sutherland Place, where the Fun Bunch sound system has been situated at the carnival since 1989.
Brand ambassadors will be handing out merchandise to passers-by such as can coolers, sunglasses and whistles, with umbrellas at the ready in case of rain. They will also be distributing £5 takeaway discount vouchers for revellers to use after the carnival.
Visitors to the activation, which has been designed in-house, will be encouraged to tweet pictures of themselves and the sound system to the Hungryhouse Twitter account for a chance to win takeaway prizes.
The sound system will be completely branded by Hungryhouse to look like a giant boom box, in celebration of its eighties heritage.
Alice Mrongovius, marketing director at Hungryhouse, said: "Notting Hill Carnival is a London institution with a strong food association and we're delighted to be a part of one of the biggest events in the city's calendar.
"Hungryhouse was launched in west London and we're looking forward to joining many of our restaurant partners and customers to celebrate our roots this weekend."
