Launched in October last year, the pop-up space and charitable project was due to shut down in spring, but .
The intention is to make the venue, located on the corner of Greek Street, a permanent fixture, however Westminster Council could close the space if the books are not balanced.
"We are still waiting from our hearing date with Westminster so we are delighted to announce that we will continue to operate as a charitable members’ club until 30 September 2010 and are now taking event bookings until 31 October 2010," said marketing manager Louisa Hadkinson.
The House of St Barnabas currently donates its profit to funding the venue’s Life Skills Centre, which helps homeless people find work.
The project has raised £300,000 so far by hosting events such as the exclusive premiere after-party for the film Nowhere Boy.
