LONDON - Yahoo! Travel has signed an exclusive deal with the Hotels.com Group, the internet's largest discount accommodation service, to launch its Hotels.co.uk brand in the UK.

The deal will integrate 's database of 7,500 hotels into Yahoo! Travel, enabling Yahoo! users to access real-time offers on hotels in 300 major destinations across the world.

The UK launch is an extension of the already successful partnership between Hotels.com and Yahoo.com in the US, where travellers can find potential savings of up to 70% on some of the world鈥檚 most popular hotels.

Hotels.co.uk claims to guarantee the lowest rates at the time of booking and specialises in finding accommodation during peak seasons. The information on the site is updated in real time, providing customers with the very latest, up-to-date deals.

The UK service will allow customers to compare price, quality, location, amenities and availability of rooms and confirm reservations.

During 2003, Hotels.co.uk plans to expand its UK offering by adding cities such as Aberdeen, York, Bath, Leeds, Liverpool and Bournemouth.
