Hello! magazine website posts 34% rise in visitors

LONDON - Hellomagazine.com's monthly visitor numbers have increased by 34% between December 2008 and January 2009, according to figures released by market research company ComScore.

The total number of unique users in January was 133,000, a leap from 99,000 in the previous month.

Nearly three-quarters of the website's visitors also registered that they do not visit competitor sites, according to ComScore's data.

It was found that in the 15 to 34 age group, reaches more UK unique visitors than , , or .

A spokeswoman for hellomagazine.com said: "Since we undertook a website restage last summer we have had more and more visitors to the site.

"It is now much more aesthetically pleasing, easy to use and interactive.

"We are focused on delivering quality content and have been pushing to drive traffic from the magazine to the website using competitions.

"We hope for continued growth moving forward."
