It will join a network of FourFourTwo-branded websites alongside the already established FourFourTwo.com and WeekendWonders.co.uk.
The launch of will be cross-promoted with the Daily Telegraph's Fantasy Football League and Vital Football in addition to FourFourTwo's 12 international editions and other titles in the Haymarket Consumer Media portfolio.
The website allows users to rate every professional footballer in Britain for their overall ability and on a range of skills. The ratings form ‘Hotlists' which display up-to-the-minute information on the best and worst players.
The site also provides a comprehensive database of every player in Britain, with up-to-date statistical information and FourFourTwo's expert opinion on each player.
It has been created to provide neutral reviews in order to engage with fans as a truly independent rating resource.
The new website will also enable fans to research players and get up-to-date ratings and comments from the people who watch them play every week and filter players by their skills to see who is best at heading or passing.
The site will initially launch with content from the EPL, SPL and Football League with plans to add international leagues in the coming months.
Hugh Sleight, editor-in-chief of FourFourTwo, said: "With Footballtalentspotter.com we wanted to create something unique - a tough task in such a mature market.
"But we think we've succeeded and that Footballtalentspotter will complement the other football sites that fans already use on a daily basis. It's almost a tripadvisor.com for professional football players with FourFourTwo providing the credibility and tools for fans to rate, comment and explore."
