As co-chief executives, Saenz de Buruaga and Rhind will lead the group, focusing their efforts on client services, product development and new initiatives.

Saenz de Buruaga, who was the chief operating officer of , and Rhind, who was the chief strategy officer, replace Don Epperson, who is leaving the group to pursue personal projects. 

Alfonso Rodes, chief executive of , said: "The appointment of two trusted and valued senior executives within Havas Digital is a strong move for us. Under their guidance, Havas Digital has achieved market leading growth, doubling in size every two years. 

"I would also like to thank Don Epperson for his professional and personal contribution to the group. He has been a great advocate of change and helped us to instil a strong culture, which thanks to his hard work and emphasis on collaboration, will live on within the teams after his departure." 

Saenz de Buruaga joined Havas Digital in March 2005, after several years working as a consultant at . 

He said: "This is a great role to take on during this moment in time. This year, more than ever, the focus will be on digital. 

"Developments in the industry around trading, addressable advertising, mobile and integrated marketing services this year will stimulate a new turning point for interactive". 

Rhind has been with Havas Digital since 2001. He joined the company as the UK joint country manager and prior to that, worked for a number of years as a strategic planner across a range of media agencies. 

He said: "This will be an exciting year for us as many technology and media owner initiatives we have been working on have been implemented. These will be key to managing the new dynamics emerging in the digital and data marketplace." 

Rhind and Saenz de Buruaga will take over from Epperson when he leaves the group on January 31.
