The development involves Havas working with Right Media to develop a media trading platform for Havas clients. Havas has also signed up to Yahoo’s online trading initiative AMP, which aims to simplify the buying and selling of online ads.

Last month, WPP signed a similar partnership with Right Media, enabling WPP agencies to buy online ad inventory more easily.

Right Media is an online ad exchange that brings together buyers and sellers of online ad inventory. The outfit was bought by Yahoo for $680m (£348m) in April last year and has since struck deals with major media players to extend its reach.
