A party on 18 November will mark the opening of the two new spaces, sat one atop the other on the east side of the venue.
The halls will provide an extra 20% capacity to the venue allowing multiple events to run alongside each other.
The Upper Hall will have space for up 1,300 to theatre style, while the Lower Hall will hold up to 1,100.
The 3,300sqm development also includes the addition of an underground car park, an outdoor covered ‘piazza style’ dining area and an enlarged, more spectacular entrance.
Venue bosses are keen to achieve a British Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method ‘excellent rating’ through the inclusion of a green roof; use of sustainable fuels; rainwater harvesting and other similar measures to minimise any environmental impacts.
