S&L Promotions has produced the flagship Dublin exhibition, which offers retirement advice, health checks and hobby inspiration, for the past 12 years.
From 12-13 April, visitors to the HIC will be able to sample pastimes such as golf, painting and wine tasting and listen to talks from the likes of Antiques Roadshow’s Eric Knowles and Ground Force’s Tommy Walsh.
The show’s director Brian McCabe said Harrogate is the "ideal location" for a new edition outside Ireland.
"North Yorkshire is a popular area to retire to and Harrogate itself is a popular destination because of its historical attractions and wide-ranging cultural and leisure opportunities. Added to that, it is within 30 minutes' drive of three major conurbations, York, Leeds and Bradford, and the town itself is very well served with Leeds Bradford Airport just 20 minutes drive away," he explained.
