Luxury retailer Harrods is repeating its Fashion Re-Told initiative, which saw it curate and staff a temporary charity shop to raise more than £110,000 for the NSPCC in April last year.
For its second year, the pop-up has moved from Sloane Street to 51 Marylebone High Street and has been given more elaborate decoration that includes a striking entrance designed by luxury florist Flowerbx.
The space is inspired by an English summer garden and has also been scented by NSPCC supporter Jo Malone London.
The pop-up, which will be staffed by Harrods and NSPCC volunteers, will sell a curated edit of new and preloved designer womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and accessories donated by brands such as Stella McCartney, Chloé, Self-Portrait, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. It will be open until 2 June.
Michael Ward, managing director at Harrods, said: "With Fashion Re-Told, our ambition is to change the public’s perception of charitable shopping by offering a Harrods level of service, product range and shopping experience. We want Fashion Re-Told customers to leave not only knowing that they have raised money for a hugely important cause, but also having bought a luxury item and experienced a truly unique shopping experience."
The retail space was donated by Marylebone landlord The Howard de Walden Estate.
