Gwyneth Paltrow shoots ad for South Korean clothing company

LONDON – Gwyneth Paltrow has been swapping Hollywood for advertising again after being spotted shooting yet another foreign commercial, this time for Beanpole, a South Korean clothing company.

The T-total mum of one, married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, was last seen advertising Martini in an Italian ad, following in the steps of George Clooney.

The Clooney spot, that saw him star alongside his then girlfriend, model Lisa Snowdon, was shown in the UK. The latest Paltrow ad is strictly for foreign consumption.

According to reports the actress, star of 'Duets' and 'Shakespeare in Love' was seen "walking into a cafe, dropping her scarf and then locking eyes with Korean heart throb Daniel Henney as she bends down to pick it up".

Won Jong-mu, vice president of Cheil Industries, said: "In order to become a global brand, we must focus on producing high-quality products along with a high-class image.

"To enhance brand awareness of Bean Pole abroad, we have decided to designate Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel Henney as our new models."

Paltrow Korean-American Henney are representing Bean Pole's Collection Line, which is described as a stylish premium line that will be launched in the fall.

The Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has made further moves away from films to spend more time with her young daughter, Apple, by recently signing up with Estee Lauder to star in global advertising campaigns for its fragrances and make-up collections.

Paltro is about to start work on a small British film 'Love and Other Disasters', which also stars Orlando Bloom. The actress has taken a small role in the film directed by the man behind the 'In Bed With Madonna' documentary, Alek Keshishian.

The movie centres on some London friends who discover London has nothing to do with the movies.
