Brad Pitt reunites with Fight Club director for Heineken

NEW YORK - Brad Pitt, who portrayed the anti-hero Tyler Durden in the film of the novel 'Fight Club', is to appear in an advertisement for Heineken.

The ad is to be directed by David Fincher, the man who directed Pitt in the film of Chuck Palahniuk's novel 'Fight Club'.

It will show Pitt buying a six-pack of Heineken and then being chased by paparazzi through the streets of Los Angeles.

Unusually for an ad featuring an A-list celebrity, it will be shown in the US.

Pitt's wife, Jennifer Aniston, is no stranger to the world of commercials, having starred in spots for L'Oreal and, more recently, in a UK advertisement for Barclaycard.

Other A-list Hollywood stars to appear in alcohol ads include George Clooney and Gwyneth Paltrow, each appearing in spots for Martini, and Sir Sean Connery, who has appeared in a campaign promoting Dewars scotch.

Fincher, who also directed Pitt in Brad Pitt 'Se7en', has had a quiet time of it since he directed the 1999 cult hit 'Fight Club', which also starred Edward Norton and Helena Bonham Carter.

The only other movie he has directed is the 2002 Jodie Foster thriller 'Panic Room'. His next film project is called 'Benjamin Button', but has no official cast attached and is not due for release until 2006.
