Price takes over from Nicolas Metzke, managing director of Greenfield's European subsidiary Ciao Surveys, who is leaving the company at the end of December.
He will work alongside Ciao Survey's recently appointed managing directors Richard Thornton and Alberto Abisso to propel the European survey business forward.
Greenfield, which is based in Connecticut, is expecting the integration of its business into one platform to cost the company between $500,000 and $1m.
Albert Angrisani, Greenfield's president and chief executive officer, said: "Keith has been a central force in growing our survey business for the last eight years and now is the right time to align the global survey business under his leadership. We can now process clients' work on a 24/7 basis around the world using the same survey technology platform -- which is what our large clients are requesting from us."
Greenfield bought Ciao in 2005 in a $154m deal. Ciao had 150 employees spread across offices in Munich, London, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam and Timisoara, Romania, as well as five employees in the US.
