The scheme, which was launched in 2011 across Grass Roots' office in Tring and Wendover, is targeted at school leavers.

The Meetings & Events division is offering an apprenticeship place at its office in Putney. The successful candidate will join as a junior conference and event administrator and will enter a two-year structured programme of on-the-job training, supplemented with specific courses covering customer service, time management, negotiation skills and contract checking.

Des Mclaughlin, Grass Roots Meetings & Events divisional director, said: "We all know how tough it is for school leavers to get their first foot on the career ladder. We are not only helping an individual achieve that, but promising to invest in them and develop their skills."
