The agreement, which is due to go live on 9 June, supports the government’s policy to centrally manage the procurement of common goods and services through an integrated procurement function at the heart of government.
It will be available to organisations across the UK public sector, including central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations. Grass Roots has been appointed across event logistics as well as technical production.
The agency's divisional director, Des Mclaughlin, said: "The public sector is responsible for some of the most innovative and creative live events within the UK and so it’s hugely exciting to be a part of the framework.
"Our ability to offer a complete suite of event related services through a single business means we are extremely well positioned to offer efficient and effective solutions that will help government departments engage with their audiences and achieve the cost savings that underpin the premise of the framework."
