Former Ogilvy man heads up Global Beach creative

LONDON - Digital agency Global Beach has appointed Ogilvy Dubai's Ralph Robinson as global creative director.

Robinson joins the digital agency from Ogilvy Dubai where he was creative director.

Prior to Ogilvy, Robinson was a creative director at rmg:connect. His new role reunites him with Prakash Patel who has been Global Beach's business director since 2005.

For more than three years, the duo successfully managed a number of blue-chip clients at rmg:connect including Mercedes.

According to Patel, Robinson's "wide range of experience, his creative approach and through-the-line experience will further strengthen their client offering."

Global Beach was established in 1993 and has offices in Irvine, California and London.

Earlier this month, the company appointed Sir Jackie Stewart, the multiple Formula 1 World Champion and a former client, to its board.
