Football Superstars appoints DBD Media

LONDON - Online football game, Football Superstars, has appointed DBD Media to handle its paid and natural search account.

The game was created by UK gaming company CyberSports and is a virtual football world where players can join football matches in a massively multiplayer online gaming environment (MMOG). Player can also socialise in bars and visit virtual stores as their football character.
 
The integrated SEO and PPC campaign aims to increase the games visibility and drive new user registrations. Football Superstars will support its search activity with integrated online marketing activity that includes viral and display advertising.

Phil Booker, head of sales and marketing for Football Superstars, said: "This really is the bread and butter of our marketing campaign and will instantly enable us to target key audiences effectively."

Reebok was the first advertiser to sign up to appear in the free-to-download game. It is using in-game advertising to launch its Ambassador Programme.
