Financial Times hands list management to RSA Direct

LONDON – The Financial Times has appointed RSA Direct to manage list rentals for its database of more than 500,000 business and consumer names.

The company's data portfolio covers readers of the FT and subscribers to other Financial Times business publications across the UK, Europe, Asia and North America.

Kate Amos, product manager at FT Database, said: "We appointed RSA Direct because of its innovative approach to list management and its data sales experience."

Richard Gibson, commercial director at RSA Direct, said: "The Financial Times has invested significantly in terms of database marketing; the database is of the exceptionally high quality and has the responsiveness you would associate with such a strong brand as the FT."

The FT is the most-read daily for the top 4% high-earning consumers and decision makers across 16 European countries.

The FT's list management contract was previously with Uni-Marketing.
