According to sources, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson has agreed to appear on the show in return for a whopping £250,000 fee, which will go directly to charity Children in Crisis.
The typical fee stars are paid is £50,000, although glamour model Jordan managed to negotiate a payment of £100,000.
ITV bosses are hoping to capitalise on the signing, hoping that Ferguson will dish the dirt on the Royal Family.
Other stars rumoured to be signing up for the show include DJ Emma B, Sven Goran Eriksson's ex Nancy Dell'Olio and disgraced football pundit Ron Atkinson. Former children's TV star Timmy Mallet, who was a stand-by for the last series, is also being tipped as a possible contender.
If Fergie does join the show in November, she will add the appearance to a burgeoning raft of mostly US TV work.
She has previously appeared in a Royal version of 'It's a Knockout' and 'Ruby Wax', as well as a guest appearance on 'Friends' and appearances on 'David Letterman', 'Parkinson', US chat show 'Politically Incorrect'. She was also guest co-host of 'The View' in the US.
The audience for the last series of 'I'm a Celebrity...', which screened at the beginning of this year, drew a record peak audience of 16m in the final, making the celebrity D-list show the most successful to date.
Former Sex Pistol John Lydon's appearance on the show was the highlight of the series. Regulator Ofcom received 91 complaints after a display of profanities, including a "f*cking c**ts" outburst. Former Atomic Kitten Kerry McFadden won the show, beating former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, former pop star Peter Andre and glamour model Jordan.
