The Northern Angling Show will see the venue’s two halls fitted with purpose built lakes dedicated to carp and coarse fishing, and an ice bar and wet room where visitors can put the latest products to the test.
Talks from industry specialists and renowned faces of the fishing world will also form part of the line up.
Research showed 43% of the UK’s rod licenses are purchased from within the 120-mile catchment area surrounding the venue, while 90% of fisherman in the area have never visited an event of this kind.
Around 12,500 anglers are expected to attend the weekend event.
The show’s director Jamie Clossick said: "We’re thrilled to be able to bring such a highly anticipated and exciting prospect to the northern audience. There is a mass desire for such a show and it is our intention to ensure the event is delivered with the highest of production values and peppered with innovative content across the course of the weekend."
