Event anonymously surveyed more than 250 corporate and agency event and brand experience professionals covering a range of roles, from junior assistants to senior management.

Exactly 50% of those surveyed said they are looking for a new job this year.

Money (46%) and a ‘new challenge’ (45%) were the two most commonly cited reasons for job-hunting, and 7% blamed long hours.

Pay rises

The survey also revealed that 41% did not receive a pay rise in 2014. While 26% received less than a 2% pay rise and 16% received a 2-5% change. A lucky 10% saw their salaries rise between 5% and 10%.
