I got into the event industry because I love organising.
I have worked here since June 2013.
I was attracted to this particular role because it’s such an innovative and creative company, with great potential to grow within the industry.
Not many people know that I’ve run the London marathon twice.
My worst experience at an event was when a bride and groom fell out at their own wedding.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s you always need a plan B.
The best event I’ve been involved in was a first date at the Wellington Arch. We prepared a six-course tasting menu and they left after the canapés. It may have been the worst first date ever - but it was a delicious one for us.
The one thing I can’t stand is people being late.
Outside of work I spend my time trying out as many new restaurants as possible.
If money were no object I would have Raymond Blanc cook all of my meals.
The one thing I can’t do my job without is my glasses. I’m as blind as a bat.
If I could switch places with anyone else in the industry it would be Paul A Young the chocolatier – he makes a living and spends his entire day eating chocolate.
If I ruled the event industry all hospitality office space would be above ground with natural daylight.
