The pair took part in 'jedi training' by playing the Star Wars Battlefront game on the big screen at Wembley. It is this activity that prompted the arch to light up, representing the Lightsaber colours of game characters Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

The Star Wars Battlefront - Battle of Jakku: Live from London event saw Moyles and Begovic take part in a 20 versus 20 game battle at Wembley, where they also fought it out on the big screen.

The event also included the world premiere of the Battle of Jakku gameplay, which was live streamed on video platform, Twitch.

The Battle of Jakku is free downloadable content for Star Wars Battlefront. It is available for pre-order customers today (1 December) and all consumers from 8 December.

The live event was devised by agency Havas SE Cake, meanwhile The Battle of Jakku content is the work of Dice and Lucasfilm.

Moyles said: "I’m a massive Star Wars fan and have been on Star Wars Battlefront constantly since it was released, but playing the game at Wembley is something else. Shooting down TIE Fighters in the Millennium Falcon on the big screen underneath the Wembley arch was amazing. It’s been great fun playing against Asmir, but he’s definitely a better goalkeeper than he is a Jedi Knight."

Begovic added: "It was fun to be back at Wembley, and this time it was to do battle with Chris Moyles.  I've always watched Star Wars and it was great to play Star Wars Battlefront on the big screen."

Disney has teamed up with Google , which is available from tomorrow (2 December).
