The VR will be on the market from 2 December. Users will be able to access the content from the official Star Wars app, which is available on both iOS and Android devices.

The experience will come to life through four Google Cardboard viewer designs that will feature popular Star Wars images. These will be available exclusively from Verizon stores.

ILMxLAB, a laboratory for immersive entertainment from Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound, combined its expertise in special effects, design and artistry to create the VR content.
