had an illusionary effect, whereby those who stood on or to the side of it felt as though they were physically entering the film's Death Star Trench Run.

A large ship was positioned at the centre of the installation, and outer space could be identified in the distance, meanwhile sound effects of ships, laser fire and droids could also be heard.

The installation took over the walkway underneath London's Southwark bridge, offering both fans and passers-by the chance to become immersed in the film series’ fictional world.

The installation was available for viewing until 10pm last Friday (2 October), at which point it was dismantled.

The stunt was designed to celebrate the release of Disney’s Rise Against the Empire play set in the UK, an extension of the Disney Infinity 3.0: Play Without Limits video game.

Last week also saw Warner Bros Games , which combines a video game and playset. The company sent a convoy of four famous film cars, including the Batmobile, out onto the streets of London.
