Event TV: Inside the Danish Olympic House

Danish bacon and smoked salmon were on the menu at the launch of Denmark's Olympic House. Event went down to give you a taste of what else is cooking at its location in St Katherine's Dock.

With it’s base on the waterside, the house has both inside and outside elements, including a Viking ship, outdoor screens, table tennis tables and a contemporary house boat that is used for meetings and entertaining during the Games.

It is using both British and Danish suppliers, and where possible those with ties to both countries. The house’s chef, for instance, is Paul Cunningham, who is English but works in Denmark.

It’s the first time an event such as this has been held at St Katherine’s Dock.

According to the project’s event manager, Peter Krusborg, the house has attracted an unexpectedly high number of British and non-Danish visitors, who have come to explore the attraction.
