Event TV: Inside Casa Italia

The Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre (QEIICC) hosted Casa Italia during the Olympic Games and Event popped in to see what was on offer.

In the video Sue Etherington, the venue’s commercial director, talks us through the different feature areas.

The house was partially open to the public with visitors able to explore an exhibition of Italian companies including Emporio Armani, Fiat and Kinder.

The ground floor auditorium was used to screen footage of the Olympics and host performances from Italian artists in the evenings.

On the fifth floor was an exhibition of photography covering the five continents of Italy.

The QEIICC will also be used as the headquarters for Italy's Paralympic committee during the Paralympic Games.
