The exhibition changed its name from The Event Show to The Event production Show last year to keep its audience more focussed and make it more understable, and it seems to be reaping rewards.

Much of the show’s success down the years has been its ability to pull in top speakers, and whereas Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis won’t be appearing this year, 2011 is no different, with Jamie Oliver, Wayne Hemingway and Harvey Goldsmith all scheduled to give talks at the ever-popular Access Sessions.

New this year will be an Event Technology Zone, designed to keep visitors up-to-date on all the latest event gadgets and gizmos. Read on for details of exhibitors new to the show this year, and the full Access Sessions line-up.

The Access Sessions (free to attend):

Wednesday 2 February
Speakers: John Probyn vs Harvey Goldsmith
Session: Transformers
Time: 11.30 - 12.30
Live Nation COO, and Access Sessions ambassador John Probyn will ask Harvey Goldsmith CBE for his take on the bureaucracy behind live events, ticket touts, legislation, cashless festivals and much more besides.

Wednesday 2 February
Speakers:  Glen Chadwick and David Hornby
Session: Three Of Your Five
Time: 14.00 - 15.00
Jamie Oliver launched Fabulous Feasts last year and he will detail his vision for the business at the Access Sessions, before directors Glen and David tuck into the detail, and reveal their plans for season 2011.

Thursday 3 February

Speaker: Wayne Hemingway

Session: A Perfect Fit
Time: 12:00 – 13:00
Wayne Hemingway MBE, co-founder of Red or Dead is a fashion designer who went on to set up Hemingway Design which specialises in affordable and social design.  In 2009, he launched Vintage at Goodwood, a summer event celebrating British music and fashion whilst injecting glamour into the festival circuit. Here he will detail how he did, and his plans for 2011.

Thursday 3 February
Speaker: Question Time
Time: 14:00 – 15:00
John Probyn returns with his acclaimed Question Time casting a quizzical eye over the industry and summing up news from the show floor.

Six debut exhibitors:

De Boer Structures:
De Boer will settle into the Event Production Show by showing off examples from its portfolio of temporary structures at sporting and cultural occasions, including its 2010 work at Ryder Cup in Celtic Manor, the Farnborough International Air show and the Chelsea Flower Show.

Qdos Event Hire:
Qdos Event Hire is launching a product that it claims "answers what many event organisers have wanted for years".
The nature of the new innovation is being kept under wraps until the show itself, but the temporary accommodation firm is confident it will make a splash.

Production AV:
Visitors will be treated to a close up look of the Christie MicroTiles modular video display solution, HD projection system and a range of temporary event signage solutions and live video conferencing systems.

LS-Live:
LS-Live has a significantly large string to its bow - the biggest purpose-built arena rehearsal facility in Europe, where Leona Lewis, Lady Gaga, JLS and Peter Kay have fine-tuned their acts before going on the road.
Although LS-Live will have trouble bringing the gargantuan studio to the show, it will be displaying a mix of in-house CAD design, a 3D visualisation team and on-site fabrication division.

360° Creative Event Services:
360° Creative Event Services will demonstrate how it has "all bases covered in events, from AV to floral theming and landscaping".  The firm is newly formed, but has built up a large portfolio over the last 12 months.

Event LED Signs:
Visitors to the show can expect to see Event LED Signs creation of a cue light system, while a simple software interface is to be shown for the first time.
The firm provides wirelessly networked scrolling LED Signs for events and festivals, used for listings, timing updates, safety messages and Tweets.
